Privacy Policy — Tierra API & Platform Data

This Privacy Policy describes how Tierra Agency LLC (“Tierra,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the internal software applications and services we operate to support our digital advertising agency, including but not limited to applications registered with Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Meta”) for access to Meta’s Marketing API.

This policy applies to data accessed and processed through these internal applications. It does not apply to Tierra’s general business operations, the websites of our clients, or third-party services Tierra does not control.

Who We Are

Tierra Agency LLC is a digital performance marketing agency that manages and optimizes paid advertising campaigns on behalf of its clients. We operate from the United States.

Information We Collect

Our internal applications access the following categories of information:

Advertising Performance Data

Through the application programming interfaces (APIs) of the advertising platforms we work with (including but not limited to Meta’s Marketing API, the Google Ads API, the Axon Ads reporting API, and equivalent APIs from other advertising platforms we may engage with from time to time), our applications retrieve aggregated and campaign-level performance metrics for advertising accounts that Tierra owns or has been granted access to manage. This data includes:

  • Ad account metadata (account name, account ID, currency, time zone)
  • Campaign, ad set, and ad-level structure (names, IDs, status, objectives)
  • Performance metrics (impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, conversion values, reach)
  • Asset metadata (creative names, IDs, asset types)

We do not access or store the personally identifiable information of end users who view or interact with our clients’ advertisements. Meta and other advertising platforms aggregate this data before exposing it to advertisers.

Business and Account Information

To operate our internal applications, we collect and store identifying information about the businesses we serve, including business names, account identifiers, contact information for authorized representatives, and configuration data necessary to associate ad accounts with the correct client.

System User and Authentication Data

Our applications authenticate with advertising platforms using long-lived system user tokens or equivalent credentials. We do not collect personal Facebook account information, friend lists, profile content, or any other personal data from individual Meta users through these applications.

How We Use Information

Information collected through our applications is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • To produce internal performance reports for use by our team in operating and improving our advertising agency services
  • To produce performance reports and dashboards for the clients whose accounts the data was sourced from
  • To monitor the health, performance, and efficiency of advertising campaigns we manage
  • To reconcile spend and performance figures against billing and budgeting systems
  • To improve the quality and consistency of our agency’s services

We do not use this information for advertising targeting outside of the campaigns we manage on behalf of our clients. We do not sell, rent, or trade this information.

How We Share Information

We share information collected through our applications only as follows:

  • With the client whose data it is. Each client receives reporting and access related to their own advertising accounts. We do not share one client’s data with another.
  • With service providers under contract. We engage trusted infrastructure and service providers to operate our applications, such as cloud hosting providers and managed database services. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to safeguard the data and to use it only to provide their services to Tierra.
  • With strategic partners under contract. From time to time we may share information with strategic partners or other third parties Tierra has engaged, subject in each case to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms.
  • When legally required. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tierra, our clients, or others.

We do not share data with advertisers, ad networks, data brokers, or any other third party for their independent commercial use.

Data Storage and Security

Information collected through our applications is stored in managed database infrastructure with industry-standard security controls, including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest
  • Role-based access control limited to authorized Tierra personnel and authenticated services
  • Network isolation and IP-based access restrictions on administrative interfaces
  • Regular review of access permissions and credentials

No system is perfectly secure. While we use reasonable safeguards, we cannot guarantee absolute security and we encourage clients to follow good security practices on their end as well.

Data Retention

We retain advertising performance data for as long as we have an active relationship with the client whose accounts the data was sourced from, plus a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping, reconciliation, and audit purposes. We retain operational logs and aggregated reporting data for as long as needed to operate our business effectively.

Clients may request deletion of their data at the end of their engagement with Tierra by contacting privacy@tierraagency.com.

Your Rights

If you are a representative of a client whose data we process, or an individual whose information we have collected in connection with our agency relationship, you may have rights under applicable laws (including the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act) to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your information
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@tierraagency.com. We will respond within the time period required by applicable law.

Data Deletion Requests

To request deletion of data Tierra holds in connection with your account or engagement, send a written request to privacy@tierraagency.com including:

  • The name of the client account or engagement
  • The categories of data you are requesting we delete
  • A reasonable way to verify your identity or authority to make the request

We will confirm receipt within five business days and complete verified deletion requests within thirty days, subject to any legal retention obligations that may require us to preserve specific records.

Children’s Privacy

Our applications are internal business tools used by Tierra and its clients. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International Users

Tierra operates from the United States. If you are accessing our services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to active clients through their normal Tierra communication channels.
